Mr. Sargeant began practicing law in 1963. After practicing law for over 20 years in private practice, Mr. Sargeant applied for and was appointed to the bench as a Superior Court Judge. He served in that capacity for almost 20 years. While on the bench, Mr. Sargeant, served as a Juvenile trial judge for the last seven years. Mr. Sargeant also presided over domestic relations and criminal matters during his time as a Superior Court Judge. Mr. Sargeant also served as a judge pro tem on the Arizona Court of Appeals Division One, and is now available to handle your appellate matters. Mr. Sargeant is also asked to arbitrate Civil disputes and handles a variety of Civil litigation.

Mr. Sargeant's passion and commitment to the welfare of children has led him to focus his practice on Family Law and Juvenile Law. He has extensive experience with Dependency and Severance of Parental Rights.

Prior to becoming an attorney Mr. Sargeant served his country as a member of United States Marine Corps and later worked as a Federal Estate & Gift Tax Examiner for the Internal Revenue Service.
